Weekend Update

It's Labor Day weekend and I am hanging out in Cather with Drake because he is on duty tonight. I work tomorrow, which is a bummer because I couldn't go out with April tonight. She and I haven't hung out in ages, it was tougher last semester when she got screwed over by the chapter abd I still had chapter obligations. She wasn't around a lot and now we're going to try to be better about hanging out because we have so much fun when we do.

I an psyched to start my second week at Belmont, I think once I get into the swing of things I won't be so tired every day, which is nice but right now I am just getting used to not being lazy all day like during the summer - at least then I was only working four days a week. Now I am working every single day. Ah well, I'll have money and you won't. :)

JohnRoss and I went to Amanda's show last night, it was really good. It made me laugh and cry, so it was a good one because when you have that spectrum of emotions, they must be doing somethin right. The play was called 'Proposals' and Amanda had one of the lead roles. She played this girl who was engaged to this guy, but didn't feel she really was supposed to marry him. She still had feelings for the guy she had a fling with the previous summer. Plus, this 'gangster' from Miami came to visit her and basically comedy and chaos ensued. It was a ot of fun and it really made me miss being in theatre. I didn't do a whole lot in high school on stage but did a lot in costumes, make-up and ticket office. I was in our Madigral Dinner by freshman and junior year but that was it, I did a lot more in elementary school and middle school. Plus, I had so many activities in high school I wouldn't have had time to take on theatre roles as well. But it was fun and maybe I could do what Amanda did and find a local group to audition with. I don't have a lot of time, but we'll see what happens.

Not much else going on, just some planning of certain events that will be happening in the future that pertain to previous posts, and the graduation party preperation as well. I am going home the last weekend in September and I think Drake will get to go this time so he will get to meet the family. Plus, it is Holden's birthday so I will get to see him and Nicholas to. I miss those kiddos a lot.
